Mini - Skills in Microsurgery - Cluj-Napoca - ed. 1

The course includes both a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part will take the form of richly illustrated and interactive presentations. The presentations will be given by RSSS members and will address notions about the operating microscope, the specific instruments used and the basic techniques in microsurgery. The concept of the workshop consists of exercises with different degrees of difficulty, so that the participants become familiar with the specific instruments, but also with the perspective offered by the magnification of the microscope. The practical part includes a variety of dexterity exercises designed to accommodate the participants in the work through the microscope eyepieces - non-biological material (gauze). Then participants will practice sutures and microsurgical knots on the latex glove (Sun-Lee disc).
